Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Repovate platform and services. By accessing or using Repovate, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Repovate is an AI-powered platform that analyzes GitHub and GitLab repositories and may automatically generate bug fixes by creating new branches and pull requests on behalf of the user.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. GitHub & GitLab Access

By connecting your GitHub or GitLab account, you grant Repovate permission to read repository contents, create branches, push changes, and open pull requests. Permissions may be organization-wide depending on your OAuth configuration.

5. Temporary Repository Handling

Repositories are cloned only temporarily for the purpose of analysis or automated fixes and are automatically deleted within a maximum of 30 minutes after task completion. Repovate does not permanently store source code.

6. AI-Generated Code Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate analysis results and code changes. AI-generated output may contain errors, security issues, or unintended behavior. You acknowledge that all generated code must be reviewed and tested before being merged or deployed.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Repovate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business damages, including loss of data, revenue, or service interruption, arising from the use of the Service.

8. Payments & Subscriptions

Repovate offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly or yearly basis. Refunds, if any, are handled on a case-by-case basis at Repovate’s discretion.

9. Termination

Repovate reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Italian courts.
